In a surprising collaboration that defies traditional expectations, Ubisoft has revealed an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Questline Uncovered
According to the formal statement, "A strange meeting pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where whispers of forbidden rituals and terrifying transformations echo through the darkness." The plot presents a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who charges the duo with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a secret group.
The adventure centers on "peculiar tests and a monstrous adversary" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Iconic Locations and Changes
The trailer highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview finishes with a striking moment showing a character, probably the captive, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Rewards and Bonus Content
Players who finish the quest will receive an unique katana alongside multiple items hidden throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:

This release also brings the game's newest no-cost story addition, titled "The Mystery."
